MY STORY
Growing up a child of the 70's, second born to a family of 5 siblings,
I realized early that imagination would play a vital role in my life. I have channeled my lifelong love of crocheting,
a passion for the environment and a “slight” obsession for thing sparkly, into an abstract mixed media artist.
My studio is home to spools of colored wire, piles of scrap copper, tins of vintage buttons and other interesting discarded items. A degree in Fashion & Textile Design helps me integrate color, texture, and movement into my work.
My work has been sold at the Joslyn Art Museum and Bemis Center of Contemporary Arts in Omaha, NE,
along with other galleries and shows in the Heartland and Southern Arizona.
I was involved with The Girl Scouts Artventure program for many years, believing that giving back
is paramount to growth and purpose.
I don't believe there are mistakes in art , or life, for that matter.
Some of what you think are major disasters can become your greatest victories.
